Christchurch Scout and Guide Band brings young people and adults together to make music, have fun and be part of something special.

The Band welcomes both complete beginners and experienced musicians, giving members the chance to learn, practise and perform in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you already play an instrument or would simply like to give it a go, the Band is a great place to build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy music as part of the Scout and Guide family.

Meeting at Christchurch Scout Centre on Wednesday evenings, the Band takes part in District events, parades, performances and competitions, proudly representing Christchurch Scouts and Guides in the local community.

Being part of the Band is about much more than music. Members learn teamwork, commitment and self-confidence while making new friends and creating lasting memories. With the support of dedicated leaders and instructors, everyone is encouraged to join in, improve and enjoy the experience.

Whether you are a Cub, Scout, Explorer, Brownie, Guide, Ranger, Leader or adult volunteer, Christchurch Scout and Guide Band offers a fun and creative way to get involved.
