Scout Network – Adventure Beyond 18

Scout Network is the section for young adults aged 18–25, offering flexibility, adventure and opportunities for personal growth alongside like-minded people. Across the District, Scout Network members continue their Scouting journey while balancing work, university and other commitments.

Scout Network is shaped by its members, giving young adults the freedom to choose activities and experiences that interest them most. This could include adventurous activities, travel, volunteering, social events, skills development or supporting younger sections within the District. The programme is designed to be flexible, inclusive and rewarding.

Members of Scout Network continue to challenge themselves through activities such as expeditions, camping, climbing and international opportunities, while also working towards awards including the King’s Scout Award. Many members also play an important role as volunteers, leaders and supporters across local Scout Groups.

Scout Network provides a strong sense of community and friendship, allowing young adults to stay involved in Scouting while developing valuable life and leadership skills. It offers opportunities to meet new people, gain new experiences and continue making a positive impact through Scouting.

For our District, Scout Network members are an important part of the wider Scouting family, bringing enthusiasm, experience and leadership that help strengthen Scouting for everyone.
