Section Leader Guidance

Supporting Young Leaders through their missions and helping them produce
strong, meaningful evidence.

Why This Matters

Young Leaders gain the most from the scheme when they are supported, observed, and given feedback.
Your role ensures missions are completed properly and evidence reflects real learning.

What Is the Young Leader Scheme?

  • Develops leadership and teamwork skills
  • Supports younger sections
  • Leads to the Young Leader Belt Buckle, one of the Top Awards

The scheme includes training modules and four practical missions, completed within a section.
